GeoData Diagnostics™ Demonstration
GeoData Diagnostics™ is a fast and easy product to test whether two geodatabases match exactly in terms of schema and properties. Below are the simple steps necessary to test two geodatabases.
Step 1 Start GeoData Diagnostics by clicking the Start>Programs>GeoData Diagnostics menu
Step 2 From the main program window, choose a control geodatabase by clicking the browse and navigating. You may choose a personal geodatabase, or an SDE connection file.

Step 3 Choose a compare geodatabase.
Step 4 Click on the Compare Button
Step 5 Click on the View>Reports to review the output.
In five steps you will have your answer. The report breaks down the errors into three categories:
- Differences, which are property differences
- Unmatched control objects, which are objects in the control geodatabase, but not in the compare
- Unmatched compare objects, which are objects in the compare geodatabase, but not in the control.
The report also give you the number of features tested and total counts of errors.
